TRILL Magazine is an online publication that embraces interactivity, multimedia and the fusion of art & writing. We want to showcase and inspire art in all forms and challenge the genre of creation. We publish a new issue every month, released in weekly installments every Friday.
TRILL is a combination of the words "true" and "real." Even the most fantastical and imaginary creations are true & real expressions of the self. We want to provide a publication where a comic about female superheroes saving the world from a squid wearing a powdered wig, a creative nonfiction piece about a girl and her mother's escape from oppression, and a short film inspired by the graffiti of Asheville can stand side-by-side and hold power together and unto themselves.
Teens deserve a place where their creativity is celebrated, and where inspiration and support flow throughout a respectful and open-minded community of diverse individuals. Providing and cultivating this place are major goals of TRILL Magazine.

TRILL Magazine is a publication of the collaboration of True Ink and Asheville Writers in the Schools (AWITS). TRILL strives to showcase and celebrate the creativity and spirit of the WNC teen art community. All proceeds from the magazine, website and TRILL printed works are used exclusively for charitable and educational purposes to further our goals. True Ink is dedicated to providing artistic opportunities for youth and helping youth develop critical skills for their educational and lifelong pursuits.
