"Hey there, I'm Maren Hurley. I have my momma's hair and my dad's eyes and I am the oldest of two children, so I try desperately not to fall into the typical ruts of teenager-dom. I got into photography when I was twelve, and quickly became obsessed, stalking photography blogs to pick up techniques and style and tips and working my poor lil point-and-shoot to death. Currently I shoot solely film, with my baby, a Pentax K1000, which essentially forces me to be a better photographer, and it has taught me to appreciate the camera store guys -- basically, they're awesome. Namaste ya'll."

"My name is Aidan Weaver and I am a 9th grade student living in Asheville North Carolina. My interests involve graphic design, cartooning, drawing, watching horror movies, writing, and making animations. I’ve been to Cambodia, eaten fried spiders, and I can’t say the alphabet backwards successfully. I’ve been into graphic design and web design ever since I knew what Photoshop was, and I plan to go to a good college to help get a career in graphic design or film directing."

"I am Kayleigh Rhatigan, a ninth grader at Asheville High. I’ve been writing ever since 4th grade when my teacher told me I was good at it. In sixth grade I had my first book published, a kid’s book called Where Are You, Little Frog? Then, it was exciting. Now, it’s embarrassing. My biggest goals are to publish a novel, travel all the way around the world, and become fluent in Spanish."
